WRF Suite with Steam
Powered Turing Machine
While the Allen Center is dramatic and modern, it is at the same time people-centered and connected to history -- to CSE's history, and the University of Washington's. In the administrative suite -- the Washington Research Foundation Suite in the southeast corner of the Atrium -- the Steam Powered Turing Machine mural from Sieg Hall is reproduced behind the reception desk.
Sylvan Grove
If you follow the hallway to the left of the SPTM mural into the main administrative suite, you will see, through the windows of the chair's conference room, the Sylvan Grove, which contains the four columns that graced the University of Washington's original building -- the Territorial University built downtown in 1861 on the current site of the Four Seasons Hotel.

Next: Retrace your steps out of the WRF Suite and cross the Microsoft Atrium to the Grand Stair.
