The basement level provides large laboratories for both instruction and research, as well as more student "breakout" and work space.

Exiting the elevator, turn left and then right at the main hallway. As you walk down the hall, you will pass two major instructional workstation labs on the right -- their function may change from quarter to quarter.

W.T. Baxter Computer
Engineering Laboratory
On your left at the end is the W.T. Baxter Computer Engineering Laboratory, the heart of our undergraduate digital design and embedded system curriculum. The Baxter Laboratory extends to a secondary room to the right rear. To the left rear is a blackout room used for 3D image scanning.

Next: Continue down the hall past the Baxter Laboratory, and turn left.
